As promised, here's Don Ford's next installment of the Dream Machines Video Series. Please like or subscribe on YouTube if you enjoy this video.
In this month's episode, we have a classic tale of competition acting as the driving force behind someone exceeding what he thought he was capable of - let alone what his car was capable of.
After enduring some goading in high school about his 3G Eclipse, Rob Faust was determined to turn his stock 17-second Eclipse into something respectable at the track.
What he ended up with was nothing short of incredible - not only because no one had ever made a 3G Eclipse that fast before - but because Rob Faust admittedly had never turned a wrench before he started this project.
I guess where there's a will, there's a way!
So sit back and enjoy as Don Ford captures Rob Faust's story from the beginning.
And make sure to check out more photos and videos of Rob's car when you get a chance on his Piston Republic vehicle profile: Voodoo262's 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse.
