Rob Faust's 3G Eclipse goes from slow mo to fast pro

As promised, here's Don Ford's next installment of the Dream Machines Video Series.  Please like or subscribe on YouTube if you enjoy this video.

In this month's episode, we have a classic tale of competition acting as the driving force behind someone exceeding what he thought he was capable of - let alone what his car was capable of.

After enduring some goading in high school about his 3G Eclipse, Rob Faust was determined to turn his stock 17-second Eclipse into something respectable at the track.

What he ended up with was nothing short of incredible - not only because no one had ever made a 3G Eclipse that fast before - but because Rob Faust admittedly had never turned a wrench before he started this project.

I guess where there's a will, there's a way!
So sit back and enjoy as Don Ford captures Rob Faust's story from the beginning.

And make sure to check out more photos and videos of Rob's car when you get a chance on his Piston Republic vehicle profile: Voodoo262's 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse
