Last time on Resurrection Motorsports you saw how to install a custom GT350R spoiler on a New Edge Mach 1 Mustang.  In a sea of the same parts on every New Edge, it was interesting to see Brandon take that risk.

This time around, we're getting very practical and showing you how to install Strange STR-S6004LMs rear shocks on Brandon's very own Mach 1 New Edge.  Even if you aren't going with this specific shock, this video is the perfect tech video if you're planning to replace your rear shocks.

Why would you want to replace your shocks on your New Edge, you ask?  Well, that's pretty simple!  Many of these New Edge Mustangs are approaching twenty years old if they're not there already.  If you are still riding on the OEM shocks, chances are they're blown out and need to be replaced ASAP.

On top of that, if you're getting into modifying your New Edge, shocks are one of the best places to start when it comes to improving the rear suspension.  In fact, some might argue that damping and the suspension in general is THE most important thing to address on a New Edge.  (You might want to also check out your rubber bushings - they're probably extremely worn!)

While we recognize that shock installation isn't the most exciting thing to watch, for those of you who are looking to upgrade your shocks on your New Edge, this is the perfect guide that goes into specific detail about how to tackle replacing shocks on a solid rear axle New Edge.  (Those of you going with an independent rear suspension (IRS) on your New Edge, might want to check out SVT_MAN's articles on the IRS setup.)

Check out the video after the jump!
