Overview

This was my Dad's truck. Back in late 2005 he special ordered it from the factory through the fleet sales. It's a full size crew cab with a standard bed. It has the 4x4 off off road package as well as a towing package. The interior is interesting as it has a standard cloth interior, but is loaded up with bells and whistles such as a drop down DVD player mounted in an overhead console and an in dash 6 disc CD changer. The clincher is that it's the 6.6 Duramax Turbo Diesel mated to a 6 speed manual transmission which makes it fairly unique. Especially considering he lived in the Chicago suburbs. This is really the vehicle that I spent the majority of my time learning how to drive stick in. It's definitely not meant for speed, but it can tow just about anything.
