Rock Lake Motors presents Cars & Coffee - July 2018 Edition
Would threatening weather scare people off?
Opinion
SVT_MAN - Jul 01, 2018
As I drove in to the Lake Mills area early on Sunday morning, I was worried.
I was worried that attendance at the monthly Cars & Coffee hosted by Rock Lake Motors might be quite low because of the impending rain. After all, my windshield already had a few sprinkles as I drove into Lake Mills from the east.
But then, as I neared the downtown area of Lake Mills and pulled into my spot on the street, the sprinkling rain stopped. Only the clouds remained. And, to be honest, the clouds were kind of a nice change versus the hot sun at each previous Cars & Coffee I have attended.
I didn't do a poll, but I heard rumblings from others that they agreed that the weather was a nice change. It didn't seem to hurt attendance anyway.
Below are some photos to give you a picture of what the day was like. If you attended, what did you think of the show?
