Event Description

Attention Car Community: Let’s mobilize to help people affected by Hurricane Ian. This Saturday’s Sarasota Cars & Coffee will serve as a donation drive for local families and individuals in need. All show cars are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items, blankets, sleeping bags, clothing, bottled water, toiletries and other essential items*. We will also be accepting cash donations to benefit the American Red Cross disaster relief fund. All donations will loaded into Suncoast Porsche's race trailer and delivered to the donation centers. Come see the area’s finest collection of classic, luxury and exotic cars, while enjoying live music, complimentary coffee from Mademoiselle Paris, water from Suncoast Porsche and supporting our neighbors in need. Held the second Saturday of every month, Sarasota Cars & Coffee features the area's most diverse gathering of automotive enthusiasts. The show takes place in the West District at UTC near the new Ford's Garage. It is open to spectators and all makes, models and vintages are welcome. Parking is first come first serve. No advance registration is required. *Supplies needed include basic toiletries like shampoo, toothpaste, hairbrushes, toothbrushes, body wash and soap, bug spray; clothing items like shirts, skirts, pants, hoodies/jackets, socks, and shoes; blankets, sheets, sleeping bags and pillows; nonperishable food items like peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned soup, cereal, bottled water and juice boxes; basic supplies like flashlights, batteries, tissue and toilet paper; and comfort items like stuffed animals, books, and games. * There is also a big need now for CLEANING SUPPLIES! Evacuated families are starting to return home and begin the clean up process. Please give what you can!
