Pharoahs Car Club We are part of a club that was formed in 1948. The Pharoahs started in Modesto ,California where the story plot for the movie American Graffiti took place. The Younger school kids in Modesto formed the Faros in 1957.They were too young to be in the adult car club made up of WWII & Korean War Veterans called the Pharoahs The Farros were the club George Lucas wrote about in the movie. They were his classmates. Both Clubs trace their roots back years prior to the Pharoahs however due to copywrite issues the movie used a different spelling altogether. Customs, Classics, Muscle Cars Trucks and real Hot Rods are what we are all about. We are every guy and gals secret dream. We totally support customs and the folks who build them, buy them and drive them. 1974 & older We are Family friendly, No Politics, Profanity, Racism Sexism, Hate, Nudity, drugs or Alcohol at public events, otherwise you are subject to removal from the group. no posting of vehicles or parts for sale or any other form of advertising. We are taking Cruise Ins and Family get together's, We want this group to have fun. We meet at Freddy's Steakburgers at 928 N. State of Franklin in Johnson City, Tn. every 1st & 3rd Friday night from 5:30 PM-9:00PM weather permitting. Freddy's is located in the Food City Plaza. And we meet at Freddy's Steakburgers in the Kingsport Pavilion Shopping Center at 2624E. Stone Dr. Kingsport, Tn. on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.
