Monroe Auto Swap Meet & Car Show Published by Nick Avina · 4m · THE APRIL 18th, 2021 MONROE SWAP MEET AND CAR SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELED!! After spending countless time and money; we are sorry to say we have canceled the April 18th show. Earlier we were lead to believe that we would be able to accommodate a minimum of 2-3000 people. The reality is the health department will only allow 1000 total people including vendors. We have sold 450 vendor spots and would sell a minimum of another 100 not including show cars; So as you can see we would be close to or at limiting out with out any spectators. We believe it would be impossible to hold back several thousand spectators and for vendors to make any money. We will be crediting all monies to the August show for vendors and car show participants and sending out new credentials prior to the show. Everyone says just have the show anyway. The reality is with covid cases rising; we believe the health department would shut us down or fine us or both. Our next show will be August 29th, 2021. We appreciate your patience and loyalty and are looking forward to the August 29th show. I'm confident this will be our largest show ever.
