Event Description
We’ve spoken with staff at Turbo Labs in Orem and they’ve agreed to do a dyno day for 10-20 cars and depending on the number of cars with reserved slots the cheaper the price will be for each (minimum of 10 cars required). On the dyno your car will get 3 pulls along with a print out of your results. This will not be a dyno test and tune day, so after 3 pulls your car will come off so the next car in line can take their turn. If you would like to get your car back on the dyno after making adjustments to your tune you may do so if there is enough time and/or you pay for an additional slot as it will be counted as two separate slots, but the purpose of a dyno day is more or less just to see where your car is at in terms of WHP and WTQ. If you would like to be put on the list for this dyno day please go to the discussion section of this event and leave a comment that you’d like to be added. If you just put that you’re going, but are not on the list it’s very likely that you may not have a chance to get your car on the rollers at this event.
Again the price for each slot varies depending on how many cars are going and prices are as follows:
10 cars (minimum) @ $75 each
15 cars @ $65 each
20 cars @ $55 each
*With 20 cars the only stipulation is that all cars must be 2wd (RWD or FWD) as AWD vehicles take more time to get on, setup and get off the dyno (There may be some exceptions to this, but that will be at Turbo Labs staff's discretion).
Turbo Labs is not requiring prepayment, but would prefer that at least 10 slots are prepaid for just to make the dyno day justifiable as they are typically not open Saturdays.
Our planned date for this dyno day will be April 10th, however, if we can fill enough or all slots before Saturday April 3rd then we may move the date up if it works better for everyone with possibility of a second dyno day being planned if there's enough interest.
Turbo Labs nor Saturday night meets is responsible for any damages or failures on your car that happen as a result of poor mechanical condition of your vehicle and you are responsible for any and all damages done to their equipment in the case your vehicle has a catastrophic failure on the dyno. It is highly recommended that all participants ensure their vehicle is in it's best mechanical shape both before claiming a slot and showing up to the event.
