Event Description

Hi guys, as some of you may know it has nearly been 6 years since our favourite little kiwi passed away, and with great success at previous car cruise’s over the years with raising funds, we are aiming to smash that total this year! But to do this we need all of you! We are trying something a bit different this year with the help from our sponsers, we will be holding a car meet at Matts Body Works in Maddingley. Whataburger food van will be there to make sure everyones bellies are full, serving burgers, hot dogs, loaded chips & cold drinks. Keen On Beans coffee van will be at the event serving their delicious coffee's. We will be holding a raffle this year to raise money for the Captain Couragous Foundation. The raffle prizes will be reveiled in the lead up to the event. We will also be handing out trophies for the best presented vehicles! The catagories are as follows BEAST OF SHOW CHAPEL ST KING DEFECT DODGER SHINE LIKE A DIAMOND BOSSEN HOT WHEELS GET LIFTED All cars/bikes will be assesed throughout the night and the winners will be presented with their trophies. The Car Meet will be held at 1 Mcpherson st Maddingley 3:00pm on Saturday the 16th of October. Vehicles that wish to enter to win a trophy please park along Mcpherson st, all other vehicles please park along Osbourne st. This is a public event so the more the merrier! This is also a Covid safe event and we ask that people please check in to the event via the QR code we provide. Invite your family and friends to come along for a good night! Any vehicles are welcome, any types of cars, bikes, 4wd's even the family bus! So make sure you give your ride a good polish and make them look wicked! We will have a money tin going around during the night, if you wish to make a donation. All proceeds will be going to the Captain Courageous Foundation for bone marrow research.. As some of you know, Dion suffered from Blackfan Diamond syndrome, Which has to do with bone marrow disease, anaemia and iron deficiencys. This research foundation has made breakthroughs in trying to understand the sickness, and myself plus a few others would think Dion would want to help those towards maybe even finding a cure!
