Event Description

November 13th. Thanksgiving Food Drive “Wheels for Meals” - 101 Cars and Coffee has partnered with St. Vincent de Paul food pantry on Saturday November 13th from 8 to 10 am to accept food donations at Westlake AutoScape. St Vincent de Paul is a part of the regional food bank for Ventura County to provide nutritious food for anyone in need of food assistance. We are asking attendees to bring a non-perishable food item such as canned food (please no glass jars). The following are some of the most requested items: •Canned Coffee •Canned Chicken •Canned Tuna •Canned Chili •Cans of Chef Boyardee pasta (any) •Spam •Breakfast bars •Protein bars •Toothpaste The collected food will be donated to St. Vincent De Paul food pantry in Thousand Oaks, Ca. which been distributing food packages to the needy throughout the pandemic. Besides the food pantry, they also help those who qualify with rental assistance, utility bills, and other urgent needs.
